We currently have five full-time veterinarians on staff as well as the referral services of Dr. Carastro with over 75 years of combined experience. In addition to our Doctors, we have a trained support team of veterinary technicians and assistants, client care specialists, resort technicians and professional groomers.

 

Dr. Seier, Cobbs Ford Pet Health Care ClinicGeorge F. Seier, D.V.M.

Born in Birmingham, Dr. Seier started a general veterinary practice in Autauga County in 1973. After graduation from Auburn University Veterinary School, he practiced near Memphis Tennessee prior to moving to Prattville. Now living on a small farm just outside of Prattville, Dr. Seier and his wife, Mary Susan, enjoy the country life with all their pets including horses. All three of the children are now out of the house and married. But things are still exciting, as the grandchildren have begun to arrive. Fortunately most are close enough to enjoy country living along with their grandparents.

Dr. Hataway, Cobbs Ford Pet Health Care Clinic

Belinda D. Hataway, D.V.M.

A native of Montgomery County, Dr. Hataway graduated from Auburn University Veterinary School in 1985. She practiced for several years in a large multi-doctor practice in Norcross, Georgia. Prior to joining our team in 1997, Dr. Hataway practiced as a relief veterinarian for various clinics in Alabama and also as Veterinary Medical Officer for the USDA. She resides in Montgomery with her husband, Jim, and their menagerie of animals.

Dr. Todd, Cobbs Ford Pet Health Care ClinicSally S. Todd, D.V.M.

Dr. Todd graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. She has worked with large and small animals but has been limited to small animals for over 10 years. She has worked all over the state doing relief work and came to Cobbs Ford Pet Health Center in March of 1999 full time. She and her husband have a son and daughter and live on a farm in Elmore County. Her interests include ultrasound procedures and cardiology.


Dr. Gamper, Cobbs Ford Pet Health Care Clinic

Tommy R. Gamper, D.V.M.

Dr. Gamper joined Cobbs Ford Pet Health Center, P.C. in 2001 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a 1993 graduate of Holtville High School and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Auburn University at Montgomery. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the Central Alabama Veterinary Medical Association. He has also served as Continuing Education Coordinator for the Central Alabama Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Gamper has special interests in internal medicine, infectious diseases, and dermatology. He and his wife Marianne are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Prattville. They have 2 sons.


Dr. Malinowski, Cobbs Ford Pet Health Care ClinicMacie U. Ousley, D.V.M.

Dr. Ousley joined CFPHC after graduating cum laude from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She was the 2006 Schering Plough Dermatology Award winner. Originally from Montgomery, AL, she graduated as salutatorian from Booker T. Washington Magnet School, and continued her education at Huntingdon College graduating magna cum laude with her bachelor of arts in Psychology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, Central Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, as well as past president of Omega Tau Sigma veterinary fraternity. Her academic interests include dermatology, internal medicine, dentistry and general surgery. Her personal interests include gardening, boating and water sports.


Susan Carastro, D.V.M., M.S.

Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology and Diplomate,

American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology

Originally from Montgomery, Dr. Carastro graduated from Auburn University Veterinary School before getting her Masters in Ophthalmology from the University of Illinois. She then taught at Animal Medical Center in New York City, and practiced in Nashville prior to starting a referral practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Carastro is available monthly for referral services in our clinic.
